CHEKHOV AND SHOLOKHOV: REGULATED INTERSECTIONS
نویسندگان
چکیده
Unregulated intersections, according to E.A. Yablokov, are artistic rapprochement of writers not connected each other biographically. At first glance, the oeuvres Chekhov and Sholokhov form such an unregulated intersection. However, it is seemingly unregulated, uncrossed. The article highlights commonality writers, who belonged one ethno-cultural space. author indicates consilience functions image steppe in Chekhov’s short-stories Sholokhov’s epic novel Silent Don (Tikhy Don), similarities differences when comes focus on Cossacks related issues. Thus, comparison may be both within their typological genetic succession.

Pursuing medicine means to a large extent pursuing medical science. A medical career also includes a substantial amount of writing, particularly for those who enter academia. Apart from science, during their professional lifetimes medical people are exposed to thousands of life stories, into which they, by necessity, intrude. Dealing with individual illnesses, and thus patients’ bodies, brings ...
متن کاملDendritic Branch Intersections Are Structurally Regulated Targets for Efficient Axonal Wiring and Synaptic Clustering
Synaptic clustering on dendritic branches enhances plasticity, input integration and neuronal firing. However, the mechanisms guiding axons to cluster synapses at appropriate sites along dendritic branches are poorly understood. We searched for such a mechanism by investigating the structural overlap between dendritic branches and axons in a simplified model of neuronal networks--the hippocampa...
متن کاملModuli and Brane Intersections
We discuss the worldvolume description of intersecting D-branes, including the metric on the moduli space of deformations. We impose a choice of static gauge that treats all the branes on an equal footing and describes the intersection of D-branes as an embedded special Lagrangian three-surface. Some explicit solutions to these equations are given and their interpretation in terms of a superpot...
متن کاملBifurcations, Intersections, and Heights
In this article, we prove the equivalence of dynamical stability, preperiodicity, and canonical height 0, for algebraic families of rational maps ft : P(C)→ P(C), parameterized by t in a quasi-projective complex variety. We use this to prove one implication in the if-and-only-if statement of [BD2, Conjecture 1.10] on unlikely intersections in the moduli space of rational maps; we present the co...
